This is “CASH” delivered 5 years ago as a fall ram lamb and never used.
Cash is a meaty ram. Very good footed and ultra-thick. We cut his horns as a yearling. This ram is not large, but ideal for siring meat lambs. He is what we call an “easy keeper.” He requires very little feed. The first group of ewe lambs purchased will have an option for the buyer to have Cash go along with them. Ewe lambs are better served to raise lambs as yearlings for breeding purposes. We don’t recommend using Cash on young ewe lambs due to his heavy structure. Ewephoric didn’t use Cash because he came as a bonus with another ram. While he is still viable, we’d like to see Cash go to a home where he will be used. If you are interested in acquiring Cash alone, drop Marlene a note at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ewephoric 0009 left, and 0063 above are shown with their lambs.
These adult ewes are available for sale. They are currently running with the Houfe ram and exposed for fall 2018 lambs. Ewe 0059 below is also available for sale. If all three (3) females are purchased together, they will be discounted. All are Ewephoric bred females. 0063 and 0059 are yearling ewes.
0059 above is a yearling ewe. She is smaller made and more conservative.
This ewe is better suited to raise meat lambs versus show sheep. We are actively looking to find homes for Ewephoric 0009, 0063 and 0059. If you are interested in these ewes, drop Marlene a note. All females are in with the ram for exposure to fall lambing. (CASH, the ram listed on this page can also go with this set of females.)
Ewephoric spring ram lambs born January – March 2018
We had a very small group of rams born in our flock this spring. (By design!) We successfully used Apple Cider vinegar in the drinking water and the ewes produced a larger number of ewe lambs. If you are plagued with large numbers of rams in your flock, the vinegar treatment does work. Ask Marlene about it. There are approximately 4-5 interesting Ewephoric ram lambs worth watching in the group of 8. If you are looking for a Horned Dorset stud ram, give us a shout. Our ram prices begin at $400. The rams are all good footed and nicely balanced. Our breeding is an outcross for most flocks in the USA.
